Waves of R&B Darkstar Album Review: Foam Island

It's been too gotdamn long but they finally made something to soothe the ears. Darkstar's back with their third studio album called "Foam Island". I find their sound to be very refreshing compared to what I have heard this past year in the "R&B, electronica" style of music. James and Aiden composed dance tracks with subtle elements of house, experimental and soul. I enjoy what they create in their music, its distinctive and powerful. Cheers to UK and European artists for going for individuality.

I made a mix of sounds that were inspired by my time spent with my favorite band, Chargaux.

On this mix we have Kate Bush, Bjork, Jai Paul, Square Pusher, Aphex Twin and a few more notable artists and snippets to say the least. Through this journey of sound are influences that not only capture the greatest elements of music but incorporates the spiritual and viral aspect as well.
